Sausage & Cauliflower Bake

Cauliflower Casserole. I adapted the recipe from a Michael Simon recipe. To make this more KETO friendly use broth and extra cheese in place of milk. It is ADDICTING! Next time I think I will saute mushrooms and add to it.

1 head cauliflower chopped into flowers, keep stems chopped small 1 pkg Jimmy Dean Sausage cooked and drained (sage or regular) 1/4 diced onion or to your liking 2 C Milk (Opt.. You can use 1 C ckn broth and 1 cup cream) 1 box Philadelphia cream cheese 1/3 C Parm cheese 1 tbl msg free chicken boullion gel Salt, pepper, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Preheat oven to 375

Cook sausage per directions, once done set aside. Next saute onion until soft adding in cauliflower to toast a bit, add block of cream cheese and milk to same pan, melt cheese, adding in seasoning. After everything is melded together place in a casserole dish, sprayed with non-stick spray. Cover with foil, bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and sprinkle with grated Parm cheese if desired and bake for additional 10 minutes.
